Our Areas of Focus

Provision of SRHR Services

We offer supplementary information on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights Services and conduct demand creation and referrals activities for SRHR related services both online and offline to our targets groups using tailored BCC materials

We also offer counselling and psychosocial support for PLWHIVs (Persons Living with HIV) in care using peer support groups programs

Mental Health

We offer education on importance of mental health through materials development and distribution, and also offer clinical counselling both online and offline through referrals and linkages

We design and implement research activities which seeks to gather data on existing and emerging mental health needs of key populations and marginalized communities who form part of our targets groups

We also offer psychosocial support to victims of abuses through peer support programs

Capacity Building

We design and implement activities such which seeks to empower and influence the overall wellbeing and social welfare of our targets groups using strategies including workshops, focus group discussion

We design and implement skills acquisition programs which seeks to contribute towards socio economic growth and development of our targets groups.

Human Rights Advocacy

We design and implement activities which seeks to promote and protect the fundamental human rights of key populations and marginalized communities

We participate in lobbying and advocacy activities and allyship building and engage in documentation of human right abuses and also offer referrals for human rights services through partnerships

Past and Current Projects

Hope Alliance Foundation has partnered both local and international stakeholders to implement activities that seek to build capacity, empower and help improve upon the social lives and well-being of its target groups, as well as enhance their knowledge.

  • Through KHARIS FOUNDATION, under World Education Inc., HAF supported the implementation of an MSM/ HIV project with funding from USAID in 2012.
  • Organized quarterly empowerment activities under the Ghana PRIDE project with funding from COC NETHERLANDS, 2017–2020.
  • HAF led a joint implementation of a capacity building project with other LGBT-led organizations with funding from ISDAO, 2019 –2020.
  • HAF carried out a COVID-19 emergency support exercise targeting MSM living with HIV, Trans people and LBQ Women with funding from ‘’ALL OUT’’ & FRONTLINE AIDS in 2020.
  • Through West Africa AIDS Foundation under FHI 360, HAF is implementing a PrEP and HIV Self-Testing demand creation and service delivery with funding from USAID.
  • Hope Alliance Foundation implemented a 6 month’s community economic empowerment program which focused on rolling out vocational skills training for selected individual from key population groups who has been affected by COVID-19 with funding support from the UNAIDS Solidarity Fund
  • Hope Alliance Foundation led the implementation of data collection exercise to help gather information on economic needs and other emerging issues affecting its targets group through the Strategic Consortium with funding support from HIVOS
